JT Miller Extends with the Vancouver Canucks! (7 yrs x 8 million)

JT Miller has agreed to a 7-year extension with the Vancouver Canucks. The 29-year-old center/winger will earn $56 million over the next 7 seasons — beginning with the 2023-24 season. He's coming off a career-high 32 goals, 67 assists, and 99 points, finishing 9th in the NHL in scoring this past season. The Canucks will also have to consider an extension for captain Bo Horvat at the end of next year; it won't be financially easy, as he, too, is coming off.a 31-goal season.
